Biography:- Penelope Regalado is a Doctor of Physical Therapy who specializes in Pelvic Floor Rehabilitation for both women and men. In treating pelvic floor dysfunction she works closely with multiple issues, including but not limited to, bladder and bowel dysfunction and hormonal imbalances. Working with a diverse patient population, she often finds herself diving into the world of functional medicine and gut health where she finds it imperative to treat root causes within the scope of her practice and, at times, refers her patients to gut health consultations with functional health practitioners. Penelope is very passionate about the gut microbiome as it not only affects bowel and bladder dysfunction, but hormonal and systemic imbalances as well. She aspires to expand her work into the pediatric population in the future to help children establish a strong and healthy pelvic floor and microbiome from an early age with the appropriate and much needed interventions.
